The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

    WIC Director, Nutritionist

    Born in Weimar, TX and raised in Schulenburg, Mrs. Seger graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Southwest Texas State University in August 2000.  


    Mrs. Seger began her career with the WIC program in December 2000 as the Nutritionist and WIC Director and is the current Central Texas Representative for the Texas Association of Local WIC Directors. In addition, Mrs. Seger also serves as the Treasurer for the Fayette County Child Welfare Board.  


    Mrs. Seger and her husband Michael live in Swiss Alp and have two young boys Marcus and Brock. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and going camping at Garner State Park.
