  • Erin Whitney MD, MPH

    Internal Medicine

    Dr. Whitney grew up in a big family in rural Bastrop county. She dreamed of becoming a doctor from a young age and obtained a Biology degree from the University of Texas at Austin, her MD from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed a 3 year Internal Medicine Residency program at Baylor College of Medicine. She additionally completed a Natural Science exchange program in Spain to improve her Spanish, a tropical medicine program in India and did graduate research in tuberculosis and West Nile Virus while obtaining a Master’s Degree in Public Health at UT School of Public Health in Houston. After school she worked as a private practice hospitalist at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center and then switched to work in primary care after the birth of her second daughter. She is committed to helping underserved communities as a member of the National Health Service Corps, and is very enthusiastic about moving home to central Texas and joining the clinical team at Tejas.

    In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband and 2 kids, cooking, attending concerts and traveling any chance she can.

  • Dr. Patrick Johnson

    Board Certified in Family Practice

    Dr. Patrick E. Johnson was born in Houston, Texas in 1953 and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies in 1983. He completed a three year Family Medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1986.


     Dr. Johnson is currently certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine. He brings over 30 years of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medicine experience to the Tejas organization.


    In October 2015, Dr. Johnson became the Chief Medical Officer of Tejas Health Care and is dedicated to the mission of providing affordable, easily accessible medical care to the community.

  • Lisa Storey, D.O.

    Board Certified Pediatrician

    Dr. Storey is originally from Dallas, TX. In 2012, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After which she attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center and graduated on 2016 with her doctorate of osteopathy. Over the past 3 years, she has been doing her residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY with the last year as chief resident. She is very excited to be coming back to Texas to serve the Tejas community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, camping and hiking.

  • Leslie Lindholm

    Family Nurse Practitioner

    Born in Columbus, Texas in 1970, Mrs. Lindholm was raised near Bellville and La Grange, Texas. In 1996, she graduated from Blinn College in Brenham with an Associate Degree in Arts. Mrs. Lindholm later transitioned into the nursing program at Prairie View A&M located in the Houston Medical Center, where she graduated in 1999. In 2005 Mrs. Lindholm obtained her Masters in Nursing Degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

    Mrs. Lindholm is Board Certified in Family Practice and has served the community in Internal Medicine and Family Practice since 2005.

    Mrs. Lindholm became a member of the Tejas Health Care team in January of 2015 and loves working with the community. She is very involved locally and works alongside her church with the homeless population in Austin, Texas.

    In addition Mrs. Lindholm is involved in mission work in South America, traveling to El Salvador annually. Her passion is people and making a difference. Mrs. Lindholm is married with one son and one grandson.

  • Sarah Kellen

    Family Nurse Practitioner

    Born in west Texas, Sarah attended Texas Tech University; earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing in 2007. After graduating with honors, Sarah practiced for nine years as a Registered Nurse in both the intensive care unit and emergency department settings, during that time she also trained as a pediatric sexual assault nurse examiner. In 2013, Sarah returned to Texas Tech to pursue her Master's Degree in Nursing. She completed her degree in 2016, finishing in the top 10 percent of her graduating class of Family Nurse Practitioners.

    Sarah is passionate about serving her local community and loves living in a small town. She is a very active member of La Grange Church of Christ and enjoys volunteering around the community. Most of all, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young children.

  • Kristen Kinney

    Family Nurse Practitioner

    Born in a small town in central Texas, Kristen attended Tarleton State University; earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing in 2011. After graduating, Kristen practiced for seven years as a Registered Nurse in the intensive care unit. In 2016, Kristen attended University of Texas at Arlington to pursue her Master’s Degree in Nursing and completed her degree in 2018 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.


    Kristen was born and raised in Granger, Texas and now lives in Lexington, Texas. When Kristen is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. The four of them can be found most of the time outdoors with their horses or attending rodeo events. She enjoys traveling, dancing, gardening and cooking with her family. Kristen looks forward to serving the communities of Lee and Fayette County.
