Dr. Parkinson received his Dental Degree from the University of Maryland and completed his dental residency at a Community Health Center in Eastern WA. That experience provided Dr. Parkinson with the desire to work in an environment that allowed him to provide high quality dental care for everyone of all backgrounds.
Dr. Parkinson has been a Dental Director and has provided his services at other large Community Health Centers in Houston before coming to Tejas Health Care.
Dr. Parkinson is a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children. Dr. Parkinson is bi-lingual English/Spanish and has completed several dental service trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Parkinson loves playing designer board games with his friends and getting out creating new experiences to enjoy with his kids. He tries to do as many adventurous things as he can and has survived a Half Iron-man, a marathon and Tough Mudder mud run. He hopes to participate in the MS-150 soon.
Dr. Delaine R. Farias’ interest in dentistry started in 5th grade. She followed her dream and earned her doctorate degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Prior to her doctorate, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
She is community driven. Volunteering for such programs as Youth Odyssey, which provides at-risk youth ages 10-17 with positive development through life skills curricula and adventure challenge programming. She has volunteered to organizations such as the March of Dimes , the Texas A&M Coastal Bend Health Education Center Diabetes Programs, the Texas Mission of Mercy events and more. Dr. Farias is dedicated to help make a difference in the health of our community.
She is the mom of a wonderful son, an Aggie and Eagle Scout. They have enjoyed time together, especially with their rescue dog, Obi Won Kenobi.
Dr. Delaine R. Farias is devoted to restoring and enhancing the beauty of your smile. She is passionate about ensuring that every patient has a positive experience.
She looks forward to building a foundation of trust to help patients relax during their treatment.
Born and raised on a family farm in Flatonia, TX, Mrs. Schneider attended school in Schulenburg where she cultivated her dreams of becoming a Dental Hygienist.
After completing the necessary prerequisites at Blinn College in College Station, Mrs. Schneider was accepted into the Blinn Dental Hygiene Program in 2013. While attending the Dental Hygiene Program she often volunteered with the local food drives, and participated in several youth dental education programs.
In May of 2015, Mrs. Schneider graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, shortly after she joined Tejas Health Care team were she enjoys being able to serve the community.
